We are a group of people who come together regularly to build skills and knowledge in art and activism. Our group aims to be open and diverse, and we seek to engage with and respond to social issues through art.
In partnership with Autograph ABP, we are working together on a programme of workshops, talks and creative activities, which are open to the public. The Network was born out of Autograph ABP and Will Essilfie's Art Activism Summer Schools held in Summer 2015. Our first network programme focussed on talks relating to art and migration, and throughout 2016 we plan to hold numerous artist-led workshops and masterclasses, which will cover a range of topics we care about.
All our events take place at Rivington Place in Shoreditch. If you would like to get involved with programming network activities or attend our events please join our monthly newsletter.
Autograph ABP was established in 1988 with the mission of advocating the inclusion of historically marginalised photographic practices. It is a charity that works internationally in photography and film, cultural identity, race, representation and human rights.
