Discuss black organising, the ways we can mobilise against racism, and create a zine in this free afternoon exploring grassroots and creative political strategies.

We’ll start at 2pm with an informal discussion between Reclaim Brixton, Black Dissidents, and Movement for Justice. Chaired by Rudy Loewe.

Followed by a collaborative zine-making workshop from 3- 5pm, with visual artist Rudy Loewe.

About the speakers

Reclaim Brixton advocates change and regeneration that benefits existing communities, the antithesis of gentrification.

Black Dissidents are a UK based group of militant black and brown activists, fighting for liberation by any means necessary.

Movement for Justice by Any Means Necessary believe in building a Britain which is diverse, integrated and equal.

Rudy Loewe is a visual artist, educator and storyteller who works primarily in comic and zine format. They explore themes such as gender, sexuality, race, trauma and mental health.
