Join us at the launch event for our new exhibition The Duppy Conqueror & Other Works, comprising works by visual artist Faisal Abdu’Allah.

Through his interdisciplinary practice encompassing photography, print-making, video, sculpture, drawings and installation, Abdu’Allah asks probing questions in relation to history, myth, faith, masculinity, memory and violence, as well as race, representation and iconography.

The exhibition is curated by Mark Sealy MBE, Director of Autograph ABP.

Our exhibition openings are very popular, and we ask visitors to RSVP beforehand to help manage numbers.

The opening is an informal event, you can arrive and leave at any time. There may be a queue to enter the building or gallery during busy openings. This is to ensure the safety of visitors and the artwork. The queue often moves quickly, and we appreciate your patience.

To protect the artworks, food and drink are not allowed in the galleries during the opening. Visitors with large bags will be asked to leave them in the free cloakroom before entering the gallery spaces.

Please note that the bar will be cash only.

The Duppy Conqueror & Other Works is supported using public funding by Arts Council England.

Autograph ABP would like to thank the University of Wisconsin-Madison for its support.
