Mark Sealy, curator of HUMAN RIGHTS HUMAN WRONGS, discusses the themes within this major exhibition with Jonathan Long (Professor of Visual Culture, Durham University).

Mark Sealy is the Director of Autograph ABP. In 2007, Sealy was awarded the Hood Medal for services to photography by the Royal Photographic Society. He is currently a PhD candidate at Durham University, his research focuses on photography and cultural violence.

Jonathan Long is Professor of German and Visual Culture at Durham University. He has published extensively on writing and photography. His books include W. G. Sebald: Image, Archive, Modernity (Columbia University Press, 2007), and he has also published books and articles on Bertolt Brecht, Ernst Jünger and Monika Maron. His current research focuses on the photographic book in the Weimar Republic.
